Job Summary:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greets visitors, ascertains purpose of visit, and directs them to appropriate staff.
- Closely watch appointment schedule and times of patient exams.
- Provide calm demeanor when working with patients at the front desk.
- Obtain patient demographic and insurance information, and accurately enter into the information system.
- Communicate with other departments and schedule appointments as necessary.
- Answers telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff.
- Process and organize incoming orders and medical information.
- Collect patient payments when necessary.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Customer service
- Organization
- Detail oriented
Education and Experience:
- Two years’ experience working in the medical field (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED required.
- EPIC experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday Shift.
The hours are Tues-Fri 8am-5pm & Sat 7:15am-4:15pm.
