What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Intelligence Manager position at Sales and Merchandising Services?
Objective:
Develop business intelligence models for all areas of the company, understanding business intelligence as the use of tools, technologies, and practices to collect, analyze, and transform business and environmental data into valuable information that helps the organization make long-term decisions and formulate effective strategies. Properly manage the data warehouse and provide information through dashboards and real-time reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the integrity of the information stored in the DWH.
- Continuously research and monitor data sources to develop predictive models.
- Develop reports (Reports, Dashboards, KPIs for each area of the company), continuously validating needs with different departments and process leaders.
- Lead and coordinate the BI team, ensuring the proper collection and analysis of data.
- Develop and implement data analysis strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
- Manage the implementation and use of BI tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and Artificial Intelligence with their respective tools (Python, R, etc.).
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of the analyzed data.
- Manage BI projects from planning to execution.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of databases (SQL) and analysis of large data volumes.
- Leadership skills and experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and think strategically.
- Strong communication skills for presenting results to different audiences.
- Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Development experience in Python.
- AI insights combined with internal and external data.
- Prompt engineering in AI.
Education and Experience:
- University degree in fields related to Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic roles related to BI and at least 2 years in leadership positions.
- Master's degree in Finance, Technology Management, or related fields (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
