Cashier/Customer Service

SalesBizLab We are seeking a dedicated and personable Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, providing excellent service and support to our customers while ensuring smooth and efficient transactions. You will work in a fast-paced environment where prioritizing customer satisfaction is paramount. As a Cashier/Customer Service representative, your daily responsibilities will encompass various aspects of customer interaction, from greeting and assisting customers to accurately processing monetary transactions.

Pay Range:

$17.50 - $28.00 hourly

THIS WILL BE AN ON-SITE JOB

Location: New Jersey

Responsibilities: 

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
• Accurately process cash and credit transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain knowledge of store promotions, policies, and procedures to effectively assist customers.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally, aiming for customer satisfaction.
• Keep the checkout area organized, tidy, and stocked with necessary supplies such as bags and receipts.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance customer service and improve store operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience in a cashier or customer service role is an advantage.
• Strong mathematical skills to handle cash transactions with accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
