Event Coordinator

Sales BizlabWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide variety of events, from corporate functions and conferences to weddings and social gatherings. Your creative vision and exceptional organizational skills will enable you to manage everything from venue selection and vendor coordination to budgeting and event promotion.

Pay Range:

$25.50 - $34.00 hourly

THIS WILL BE AN ON-SITE JOB

Location: Wilmington, NC

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute various types of events including corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, and social gatherings
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, venues, and external partners to ensure the best value and services
• Create and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses stay within the allotted budget
• Develop event timelines and schedules to ensure all aspects of the event are completed on time and to high standards
• Coordinate logistics such as transportation, catering, audiovisual needs, and decor to deliver seamless events
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning or project management
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and attendees
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events
