Job Responsibilities
Assist instructors in preparing and delivering lessons
- Support students with individual learning needs during classroom activities
- Provide tutoring or additional help to students in areas where they need improvement
Grade assignments, quizzes, and exams as directed by the instructor
- Manage classroom activities and help ensure a positive learning environment
- Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources
- Communicate effectively with students to address any concerns or questions
- Participate in meetings or training sessions to improve teaching practices
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred
Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or education support is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience and a positive attitude when working with students
- Ability to manage classroom tasks and support multiple students at once
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets
