Position Overview

We have partnered with a growing leader in the early childcare space that is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead their enrollment growth strategy, drive lead generation, and strengthen community partnerships. This role is responsible for overseeing the sales team, optimizing the enrollment process, and developing innovative strategies to attract new families to our early education and childcare programs.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Enrollment Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and exceed enrollment goals across all locations.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Partner with marketing to create targeted campaigns that drive family engagement and increase enrollment.

Lead Generation & Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture relationships with prospective families, ensuring a seamless customer journey from inquiry to enrollment.
  • Develop partnerships with community organizations, local businesses, and parent groups to enhance brand awareness and referral opportunities.
  • Oversee CRM management, ensuring all leads are effectively tracked and converted.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, providing training, motivation, and performance feedback.
  • Set clear KPIs for the sales team and track progress using data-driven insights.
  • Foster a culture of customer-centric selling, ensuring a consultative approach to helping families find the right educational fit.

Operational Excellence & Collaboration

  • Work closely with center directors and operational teams to align sales efforts with capacity planning and program availability.
  • Optimize the enrollment process to reduce friction and improve conversion rates.
  • Monitor and report on key sales metrics, providing regular insights and recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5 years of sales leadership experience, preferably in education, childcare, retail, or multi-location service industries.
  • Ability to work a full-time, 40-hour week schedule, with occasional off-hours for business needs (e.g., networking events, conferences, business meetings).
  • Ability to sit for long periods at a computer in a primarily sedentary position; manual dexterity required for computer and peripherals.
  • Some travel required (less than 40% of the time).
  • Proven track record of driving enrollment growth and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM tools and sales analytics.
  • Passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of family needs.
