THE JOB
Commercial Sales Project Manager Kansas City, MO
As a Sales Project Manager, youll play a pivotal role in driving business growth by managing projects from initiation to completion while achieving sales goals. This autonomous role involves outside sales for commercial roofing, planning territory strategies, and leveraging your network to build a strong pipeline. Youll work collaboratively with a production superintendent and other team members, reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
Key activities include:
- Generating and closing leads.
- Managing project timelines and ensuring smooth operations.
- Engaging in weekly accountability meetings to maintain quality control.
- Achieving a first-year sales target of $1 million.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
- 25 years of experience in roofing sales or project management.
- Proven expertise in commercial roofing, including estimating and on-site work.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ethical integrity, and a positive outlook.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- A valid drivers license and physical ability to climb roofs.
- Preferred experience includes roles such as Project Manager, Sales Manager, or similar, particularly with a focus on roofing or construction.
