Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology, exercise science, health & fitness, corporate wellness or related degree preferred, or certification relevant to the fitness/wellness industry from an NCCA-accredited organization. Minimum 1 year experience in implementing a wellness program, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, or group exercise leadership with experience in Participant Assessment, Exercise Testing, Exercise Prescription, Exercise Training and Leadership, Education and Behavior Change, and Legal and Professional Considerations. Proficiency in utilizing effective coaching techniques.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
1.ACSM-Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP), NBC-HWC, or equivalent
2. Current BLS Certification.
