POSITION SUMMARY
Position Summary:
Under the supervision and direction of a Physician or Pharmacist, is responsible for receiving, filling, and dispensing of prescription requests and plays a significant role in the coordination of patient access to care; performs these functions in accordance with national and state standards, laws, and practices. Assists pharmacist as directed.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education
High school diploma
Minimum Experience
At least 1 year of work experience in a retail pharmacy
Experience with patient copay assistance programs and/or foundation assistance is preferred
Required Registration/License/Certification
Kansas State Board of Pharmacy registered technician.
