- POSITION SUMMARY
- Position Summary:
- Responsible for reviewing, clarifying, and documenting home medication lists of all patients admitted to the hospital. May also be required, under the supervision and direction of a pharmacist, to fill medication orders and perform related duties; and transport medications. The Medication Reconciliation Tech performs duties functioning in accordance with national and state standards, laws, and practices. Assists pharmacists as directed.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
- High school diploma or GED (or eight years equivalent experience)
- Minimum Experience
- Two years related experience preferred
- Retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Required Registration/License/Certification
- Kansas State Board of Pharmacy registered technician preferred
- CPhT certification preferred
