The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Medi-Cal billing, with the skills necessary to improve our current billing procedures and reduce A / R days. Business Office Assistant Responsibilities
- Manage Medi-Cal and Managed Medi-Cal Billing
- Perform posting charges and completion of claims to payers in a timely fashion
- Work claims and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided
- Perform Medi-Cal reviews and audits
- Complete and audit Treatment Authorization Requests Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years' experience as a Medical / Medicare billing
- Strong knowledge of MS Access
- Familiarity with PCC, Medi-Cal, and Central California Alliance for Health Benefits
