What You'll Contribute
Sallie Mae Product Management ensures the success of our Student Lending business line through the day-to-day administration of our student lending products including core areas like Business Policy & Controls, Product Development, & overall oversight of the customer experience, business initiatives, & communications. These areas are critical to delivering high quality products to ensure students and families can invest in their education with private education loans designed to responsibly bridge the gap between personal resources and federal student aid.

What You'll Do
Assist in various product management, development, & strategic functions including but not limited to the following:
- Assist with product & marketing initiatives including content review & project execution to deliver meaningful efforts to our customers
- Perform competitive and market analysis against key competitors and business to capture intelligence gathering for business decision making
- Aid in analysis of our product performance, trends, and reporting to ensure end-to-end knowledge of our products, services, and customer journeys
- Review and assist with core business controls evaluation including product reviews, strategy changes, and more to maintain high quality of due diligence and risk management
What You Have
Minimum education, skills and experience required.
Education
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Open to rising Seniors
- Maintains a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Available to work up to 40 hours per week between 6/02/25 and 8/22/2025 – Summer
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with individuals at all levels.
- Excellent administrative skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and web-based applications.
- Strong follow through and multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail.
