What You'll Contribute
The Senior Manager, Email and SMS Marketing will be responsible for leading and managing our email marketing initiatives to drive awareness, conversions and engagement to achieve business objectives. This role plays a critical part in growing and shaping our email marketing strategy, as well as helping to launch a new SMS channel.
What You'll Do
- Develop and oversee the email and SMS channels strategies, implementation and performance to ensure marketing contributes significantly to business growth.
- Lead a team of marketers to develop and implement high-performing programs that enhance engagement, drive revenue, and nurture long-term customer relationships.
- Leverage automation, customer journeys and segmentation strategies to drive engagement and conversions.
- Implement A/B testing and optimization to increase open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates, testing subject lines, content, design, send times, and segmentation strategies.
- Own and manage programs using HubSpot marketing platform, ensuring seamless integration with the broader tech stack.
- Partner with analytics teams to enhance reporting, analyze campaign performance data and use insights to refine strategies and optimize campaigns to increase success.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and an integrated customer experience across all digital touchpoints.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new digital marketing opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
What You Have
Minimum education, skills and experience required.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful email marketing strategies and/or SMS marketing that have driven business growth.
- Strong knowledge of email and/or SMS marketing, best practices and HubSpot marketing platform.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire a small to medium-sized team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and excellent project management and organization skills, with a high degree of flexibility, reliability, and an ability to work under pressure that aids in effectively handling multiple complex priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in digital marketing.
- A master's degree is a plus.
- Experience in both email and SMS channels is a plus.
