SUMMARY
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and executing daily operational functions and administration tasks, that support the program life cycle and its operations. The coordinators will also provide support to the Operations Lead and Operations Supervisor on special projects or emergency situations such as Crisis Management Actions (CMAT) and Non-Combatant Evacuation Coordination (NEO).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compiles and prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Continuously manage, update and track employee movement daily, by use of Excel spreadsheets.
- Responds to all calls, accurately records info on logs and generating reports as dictated by policies, conveying pertinent information immediately to necessary parties.
- Monitor email requests and disseminate email notifications in an expeditious manner to appropriate personnel and management levels.
- Generate and deliver weekly and monthly Power Point presentations.
- Follow up on all scheduled reports and medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) calls and generate final reports.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure private and proprietary information.
- Exemplify the ability to learn and apply new information.
- Assists management with operational and administrative support.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a citizen of the United States of America.
- Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent and a bachelor’s degree required or have the equivalent of four (4) years of relatable work experience and an associate’s degree.
- Having at least two (2) years of experience working overseas in an austere DOD / civilian operations management environment are required.
- LOGCAP/Military/FMS Operations experience is highly desired.
- Experience working with diverse cultures/ nationalities.
- Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize situations and make appropriate decisions.
- Ability to generate and deliver Power Point presentations.
- Knowledge of MS Word and Excel, working with spreadsheets
- Work productively under pressure and stressful emergent situations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK CONDITIONS
- Ability to live and work in harsh climatic and austere living conditions to include the potential for moderate to extreme physical danger.
- Must be capable of working long hours, varying weather conditions and hazardous environments.
- Remain prepared for the possibility of relocation at short notice under adverse conditions.
- Must possess the physical endurance to manage extended periods of standing, walking, and potentially strenuous activities.
- Must be ready to respond to emergencies, including participating in evacuation or crisis management procedures as needed.
- Capable of adapting to changes in work conditions, including shifts in workload, tasks, and environmental factors.
