Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting excavators, loaders, dozers, scrapers, graders etc. We use both Lowboy and tilt-deck style trailers.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload heavy excavating machines using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Ensure the safe transportation of goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in truck driving with a focus on heavy machinery.
- Ability to load and unload equipment safely using proper techniques.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations for commercial driving.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
