Job Description:
As a Service Advisor, you will act as the main point of contact between our customers and the service department. Your role is to ensure customers receive a superior service experience while managing their repair and maintenance needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with their service needs in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule service appointments and confirm service details with customers
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding the status of their vehicles
- Prepare repair estimates, obtain approvals, and ensure proper documentation
- Advise customers on recommended maintenance and repairs based on diagnostic reports
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient repair and service
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, complaints, and concerns
- Process customer payments and handle warranties and claims
- Stay current on industry trends, products, and services to better assist customers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher is a plus)
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and under pressure
- Knowledge of automotive repair services and maintenance (preferred, but not required)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with computers and service software (CRM experience is a plus)
- A valid driver’s license
