What You'll Do
PE or applicable professional registration preferred.
Experience
A minimum of eight years of related experience is required (if no degree, 12 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience totaling 12 years).
Education
A bachelor’s degree related to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.
Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona. We are taking steps to protect the health and well-being of all team members, and by following a number of health and safety protocols, to reduce the risk of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

PAC Engineering-Control Manager responsible for supervision of engineers performing design, RTU configurations, lab checks, and commissioning SCADA systems.
What You'll Do
- Performs as engineering project leader.
- Prepares specifications and evaluates bids.
- Prepares recommendation material for management consideration.
- Prepares and/or conducts written and oral reports and presentations.
- Responsible for collaborating on strategic initiatives with stakeholders internally and externally to PAC.
- Responsible for supporting NERC, CIP, and WECC regulatory compliance activities within set time frames.
- Act as design consultant, trainer, and reviewer for transmission and generation designs and settings.
- Monitor and report design budgets, scopes, and schedules.
- Take a trainer role in teaching and developing commissioning best practices for distribution, transmission, and generation SCADA systems.
- Be actively engaged in suggesting process improvements and generating ideas related to design, configurations, and commissioning standards.
- Set goals and objectives with employees and meet regularly with employees to review goals and objectives, workload, and areas of opportunity and/or improvement.
