Salted Roots is hiring a new Property Manager to oversee the operation of 11 nightly rental units in downtown Anchorage, Alaska. This is a start-up and would require lots of hard work getting our second location off the ground (currently run a sister operation in Seward, Alaska). Job training hoping to start in late February.
The Salted Roots Property Manager role is a multifaceted position requiring a combination of remote and on-site responsibilities. Remotely, the manager will oversee housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and payroll, while also managing guest inquiries, inventory orders, and invoice payments. Responsibilities include creating social media content, monitoring occupancy rates, managing influencer collaborations, and supporting the development of AI tools for business growth. The manager will also lead regular meetings with stakeholders and handle financial reporting.
On-site duties include supporting housekeeping, managing maintenance, coordinating building maintenance tasks with management company, and addressing guest needs. This position requires strong communication skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with social media. Benefits include a flexible schedule, a $60,000 starting salary with an optional on-site residence, retirement match after two years, PTO, health insurance reimbursement.
