What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Saltwater Restaurants?
Bartender
Duties include preparing alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant customers, interacting with customers, taking orders, serving snacks and drinks, potentially taking tables in the bar area. Must be able to assess the bar customer’s needs and should be able to make a large variety of cocktails as well as make recommendations to the customer.
Bartenders are expected to stock, restock, and replenish the bar as needed
A bartender must have great listening and speaking skills to create a great dining experience for customers.
A friendly, relaxing demeanor, courteousness and quick service is a must
Must be able to stay on your feet the length of your shift
Bartenders are part of the restaurant team, working closely with other bartenders, servers, bussers, and cooks to make a great dining experience. Being a team player is essential.
Cleanliness is a must. Being clean and neat when serving food and drinks will help create a great first impression to your customers.
