Bartender

Salvatore's Tomato Pies in Madison is currently seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and professional bartender. We are looking for folks who are creative, empathetic, and customer focused. Must have evening and weekend availability. Experience is preferred. Full-time employees (30 plus hours per week) qualify for health, vision, dental insurance, and PTO.

Summary

As a Bartender, you are the face of Salvatore’s. Developing community, encouraging repeat visits, crafting exceptional beverages and delivering outstanding customer service is your focus. The ideal candidate will thrive in a creative team environment and be passionate about quality local ingredients. This position reports to the General Manager.

Responsibilities

Greet and serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring a positive experience.

Create new cocktails and curate beverages in accordance with industry trends.

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.

Operate the POS system accurately for order processing and payment transactions.

Maintain a clean, organized and efficient workspace.

Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service.

Handle cash and manage inventory, including ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a bartender with strong customer service skills.

Proficiency in using POS systems. TOAST experience is a plus.

Knowledge of safe food handling practices.

Ability to manage time effectively.

Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions.
