What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Merchandiser - Garden Center Green Goods and Pottery position at Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses?
Top 50, High End, Independent Garden Center seeks experienced merchandiser to work part time on indoor/outdoor displays.
Materials on display consist of:
· Pottery - all sizes and mediums
· Green Goods - large and small plant material
· Seasonal Décor
· Holiday – Halloween
· Holiday – Large Christmas Shop with wide ranging items from ornaments to large scale lighting
Duties:
· Creating product displays from start to finish
- Developing a display concept
- Implement concept with items on hand
- Creating new displays each week
Applicants Should Be:
· Independent self-starters
· Able to lift 50lbs for creating some large-scale pottery displays (some labor will be provided)
· Have an eye for design
· Have 3-5 years minimum prior merchandising experience
· Able to work with a wide variety of mediums and products
· Have Sunday, early morning or evening weekday availability
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
