Position Details
Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
The Department of Computer Science invites applications for a full time lecturer position. Duties include teaching courses at all levels, and service to the Department, University, and the wider academic community. Course requirements may include a combination of teaching on-campus classes at the main campus in Huntsville and online classes, depending on the needs of the academic department.
Please Note: This position is for one year with the possibility for renewal.
Educational Requirements for the Position
A M.S. or Ph.D. (ABD will be considered) in Computer Science or strongly related field from an accredited institution is required prior to appointment.
Experience Required for the Position
3-5 years teaching experience at college level.
Other Requirements for the Position
Applicants must be able to demonstrate fluency in writing and speaking English.
