Nature & Purpose of Position
Creates visual elements for KSHU7 studio productions, social media, web content, promotional material, and station branding. Works alongside student producers, editors, directors and social media manager roles to unify the branding and design experience.
Other Requirements for the Position
- Creative Design
- Create branding elements like logos, animations, and on-screen graphics.
- Design motion graphics for video content
- Use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere.
- Team Support
- Work closely with directors, producers, and editors to integrate graphics into video projects.
- Collaborate with the Program and Social Media managers in creating promotional content and casting calls.
- Design Strategy
- Ensure all graphics align with the studio’s aesthetic and branding guidelines.
- Manage graphic assets and organize files for future use.
- Research content trends of other stations to plan for future media.
