Position: Software Quality Assurance Engineer III
Job Location: 702 SW 8th Street, Bentonville, AR 72716
Duties: Develops software quality assurance (SQA) test plans for assigned projects by determines exact testing scope for assigned projects; determines data and environment requirements; identifies dependencies and risks; and determines schedule of test deliverables. Serves as a training resource to SQA Engineers I & II by creates and provides access to training documentation, and training on applications and systems. Files, verifies, and resolves defect tickets by logging in to the defect tracking system; verifies and closing resolves tickets; identifies and re-opening resolved tickets; creates new tickets with the information required to reproduce the defect; troubleshoots possible reasons for software or system issues or defects; performs the failed steps to confirm the resolution of the problem; and closes resolved defect tickets. Performs quality assurance testing for medium to large-scale, eCommerce Web applications, tools, and software by writing front/back end and gray/black box test cases in accordance with established standards; executes test cases; obtains test case approval from the project team; querying application logs and databases and checking configuration files to troubleshoot issues encountered during testing; accessing test case repository system; reads and understands test cases and requirements; applies test case instructions to product under testing; evaluates results against expected results; and updates test case execution status in tracking system.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field plus 5 years of experience in quality engineering or related experience.
Skills required: Must have experience with: Creating Test plan, test execution and managing Test life cycle using Xray Test Management; Validating, creating defects, and retesting defects and tracking using JIRA management tool; Architecting the UI Test Automation framework using WDIO, Mocha and Type script; Integrating automation reporting using Allure Reporting; Executing and monitoring Regression test cases on Sauce labs for both android and iOS; Developing UI Automation test scripts using Appium; Developing Automation framework for API validations using Rest Assured and JAVA; Testing and Validating Cosmos Database and SQL Database; Analyzing the app behavior and debugging the application services using azure APIM Logs; Analyzing App behavior using quantum metrics; Creating Cucumber framework for Rest API Validations; Monitoring error logs using log4J and fixing the problems; Testing the Rest API's using Postman; Analyzing and fixing bugs using React Native; Application Debugging and Troubleshooting of React native application using React Native Debugger and Charles Proxy; Unit testing using JEST; and Creating and managing CICD job using Jenkins.
