Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to oversee and provide guidance and supervision for our clinical team ensuring adherence to ethical standards and effective practices. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring staff while fostering a supportive environment for both clients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support clinical staff in their daily operations, providing guidance on treatment plans and therapeutic techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies related to clinical practices.
- Facilitate training sessions and Professional Development and workshops on relevant therapeutic modalities
- Supervision, weekly or biweekly meetings with supervisees to discuss their cases, provide feedback and address and concerns
- Monitor client progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet individual needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of clinical activities in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Experience
- A Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required. LCSW-R required
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a clinical setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with psychopharmacology principles and practices is essential for effective client care.
- Experience addressing gender issues in counseling settings is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to foster positive relationships with clients and staff alike.
