Job Description

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients, including mobile and foot patrols, monitor for criminal behavior, make incident reports and liaise with law enforcement and management. This position is for a retail location in Woodbridge, Virginia.

Location: Woodbridge, Virginia

Shift(s): 7:30am - 2:30pm & 2:30pm-10pm

Days: 7 Days Per Week

Hourly pay rate: $22.50

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• APPLICANTS ARE APPLYING FOR A FULL TIME POSITION AND HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY, INCLUDING NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law on a random schedule.
• Must have an active Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Unarmed Security Officer registration. Must have Armed registration with Firearm Endorsement for Armed positions.
• Have reliable transportation and smart phone (Apple or Android) capable of utilizing company required apps for scheduling and reporting.
