Key Responsibilities
Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images that aid in accurate diagnosis.
Positioning patients and equipment, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort throughout the examination process.
Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, and monitoring video displays to adjust density or contrast.
Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to physicians, and updating patient records in a timely manner.
Organizing daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies to maintain optimal functionality.
Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice to patients.
Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
