What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Engineer - EIT position at Sambatek, Inc.?
The Project Engineer position is an opportunity to work on a team on focused on commercial land development of 1-5 acre sites. Each week provides new challenges in site planning, grading, utility design, and stormwater management. We're looking for someone who is ready to grow in their career serving clients and working with great coworkers.
Work location: In-office for initial training period, hybrid option post training
The qualified candidate will:
- Possess strong design fundamentals and deliver complete documents at project milestones
- Assist Project Managers with design coordination between clients, grading contractors, geotech, and other disciplines
- Prepare a variety of plans from concept drawings to construction documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT (Engineer in Training)
- 0-4 years of land development experience
- Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and driven to exceed expectations
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment
- Ability to occasionally move equipment/objects weighing up to 10 pounds
