Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to oversee our service department, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto service management and possess excellent leadership skills.
Duties
- Manage daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and customer service
- Provide guidance and training to service advisors, technicians, and support staff
- Ensure quality control and adherence to safety regulations
- Oversee automotive diagnostics and repairs, including complex mechanical issues
- Handle service writing, estimates, and invoicing
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to increase service department profitability
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote automotive services
Skills
- Proficiency in automotive service management
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to suspend diesel engine repair
- Exceptional customer service skills
