- Identify and lead business growth initiatives from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with company objectives and successful outcomes. Develop plans for handing off integration and ongoing management following execution of initiatives.
- Partner with market research teams and incorporate information from multiple sources to identify emerging trends and understand the competitive landscape. Proactively develop investment thesis to capitalize on emerging trends and competitive landscape, and identify target growth opportunities within the thesis.
- Create and enhance frameworks for assessing opportunities, improved resource identification, and prioritization. Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate and prioritize market opportunities. Determine paths for assessment that increase speed to decision without sacrificing key inputs.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including distribution and technology partnerships. Lead negotiations and manage lifecycle of strategic partnerships to enhance business relationships and growth. Create playbook for onboarding and integrating strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with multiple levels of leadership to determine prioritization and resourcing needs for new growth opportunities.
- Communicate strategic goals and growth initiatives effectively across the organization to ensure alignment and motivation.
- Drive and reinforce commitment to internal controls processes such as Model Audit Rule (MAR) and Record Information Management (RIM).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 5-10 years' Experience in the Insurance and/or Securities industry with focus in Business Development, Strategy, Sales/Marketing, Distribution, Competitive Intelligence or related field preferred Preferred And
- 3-5 years' management experience with proven ability to develop talent Preferred
- Strong customer relationship management and servicing skills as well as internal corporate relationship management capabilities
- Clear and efficient communicator with ability to handle difficult discussions in professional manner and motivate teams through challenging initiatives
- Self starter; able to work independently and operate in fast paced, changing environment
- Strong project and organization skills with emphasis on prioritization and timelines
- Ability to handle numerous tasks effectively at the same time
- Strong creative skills; ability to promote operational efficiencies and find solutions to achieve business objectives
- Ability to lead and work-direct others to drive implementation of key initiatives. Collaborate with multiple business areas simultaneously
- Possess training skills; ability to work with and develop team members
- Familiar with Microsoft suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Travel volume can vary by initiative, up to 25%

Pay Transparency Verbiage: Range includes data points from multiple labor markets. Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position. Starting salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and experience. For a narrower salary range specific to your labor market, please inquire.
