Join our dynamic Network Engineering RAN Tier-3 team at Samsung Electronics, where we focus on optimizing network performance and conduct deep-dive log analysis across all protocol layers, from PHY to RRC. As an intern, you’ll work with real-world network data, troubleshoot complex network performance issues, and contribute to enhancing next generation wireless networks. If you are passionate about mobile networks, eager to solve complex technical challenges, and excited to gain hands-on experience in 5G, we’d love to have you join us!

Skills And Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Network Engineering
- Understanding of 4G/5G protocol stack (RRC, PDCP, RLC, MAC, PHY layers) and signaling procedures
- Good knowledge of cellular network architecture (RAN, Core Network and EN-DC/NR-DC)
- Familiarity with 3GPP 5G NR Specifications
- Basic knowledge of RF coverage/capacity optimization, beamforming and Massive MIMO
- Understanding of network performance KPIs
- Good to have experience working with drive test and log analysis tools (eg., TEMS, XCAL/XCAP, QXDM/QCAT)
- Good Knowledge of TCP/UDP and IP protocols
- Experience working with Python Scripting/Automation (Pandaa, OpenPyXL, Matplotlib etc.,) and exposure
