Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized, reliable, and detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our Samsville Gallery team. In this role, you will help ensure the smooth operation of our company in a creative and passionate workplace. The ideal candidate will have bookkeeping experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and strong computer skills. As part of the back-end operations of Samsville Gallery, you will be on-site at our down-town Gallery or at our studio space off of St. Michaels.
General responsibilities include:
- Bookkeeping
- Smoothly and effectively communicating with team members
- Utilizing computerized systems and software
- Filing and maintaining documents and records
- Potential administrative responsabilities
Experience and skills:
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency in utilizing computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proven experience in administrative or assistant roles preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize
- Attention to detail and accuracy
