Waterfront Safety and Fun:
The Samuel and Althea Stroum Jewish Community Center is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Camp Waterfront Supervisor to lead our aquatic programs. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining a safe and enjoyable boating environment for our campers and staff. Key responsibilities include enforcing waterfront safety protocols, creating engaging boating activities, and collaborating with the Camp Director and Aquatics Director to ensure seamless program delivery.
Your Responsibilities:
As a Camp Waterfront Supervisor, you will be responsible for cautioning participants about safe and unsafe behaviors, rescuing participants in distress, and performing routine waterfront maintenance tasks. You will also work closely with team members to organize supplies, communicate effectively, and adapt activities to meet the needs of our diverse camper population.
What We're Looking For:
We seek a highly motivated and qualified individual who possesses current certifications in CPR/AED and First Aid, experience working with children (a plus!), and a Waterfront Lifeguard Certification. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service are essential qualities for this role.
