Samyak Solutions is looking for a Data Analyst to provide expertise and guidance in the use of database management systems to manage ANA data across all programs and TTA Centers. Designs, implements, and maintains databases with respect to access methods and time, device allocation, validation checks, file organization, indexing methods, protection and security, documentation, guidelines, and statistical methods.
Establishes standard written procedures for operations of the database and database
management systems. Collects data elements and prepares database specifications.
Databases and information systems shall inform ANA leadership, policy and program
operations on efficiencies and impact of ANA’s grant programs, awards, and applications.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage ANA data collection and reporting methods including but not limited to Grant
Solutions, Form Assembly, Power Apps, Smartsheet, Survey Monkey, etc.
- Develop Information Collection systems to be used across ANA programs and
operations.
- Supports ANA with data pulls from a variety of data sources.
- Develops, maintains, and controls ANA’s data dictionary and report depository.
- Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate performance to
identify ways of enhancing technology.
- Troubleshoot data-related problems and suggest improvements for modifications.
- Input data elements related to ANA grants and applications.
- Ensure that data are properly managed and utilized.
Knowledge Required for the Position:
- Experience with database systems such as Form Assembly, MS SQL Server, DB2, or
other data management systems.
- Excellent understanding of data administration and management from collection, input
to export and analysis.
- Proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, etc.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Data Visualization tools across platforms. Experience with Canva and
ArcGIS preferred.
- At least five years of related hands-on experience with the specific equipment, software
or other requirements specified by an actual Statement of Work or Statement of Need.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business,
or other related scientific or technical discipline. With master’s degree, three years of
specialized experience. With nine years of general information technology experience
and at least five years of specialized experience, a degree is not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
