Youth Services Clinical Coordinator
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and supervise the delivery of clinical service to children and adolescents.
- Assists the Program Director with development and modification of services, policies and procedures, staffing patterns, staff selections and evaluations.
- Oversees services provided through the following programs : mentoring, school based, and youth recreation.
- Evaluates clinical services to ensure excellence and efficiency.
- Engage in quality assessment activities and analysis.
- Prepare program reports.
- Oversees assessments and diagnosis of patients, shall direct the preparation and maintenance of clinical records.
- Observes clinical staff in the provision of services and reviews documentation of services to ensure that care is carried out.
- Review meetings to ensure clients have a completed assessment and is staffed in a team setting with the proper clinician.
- Investigates and resolves complaints.
- Completes assessments, treatment plans, and facilitates counseling and intervention services to 15-20 clients.
- Coordinate and deliver training activities. Shall give orientations to new staff and identify training and educational needs.
Qualification Requirements : Master’s Degree or higher in mental health, social work or in a related field; Must have had five years of specialized experience in coordination in a behavioral health facility with a focus on child services or job-related field.
