Primary Purpose:
The Project Support Coordinator is focused on the administration of projects, document control management, data analysis and data management of Intake, Segment 1-2 Projects from Stage Gate 1 -- 6 overlapping multiple departments. The work supported is largely focused on Distribution construction projects at Intake, Segment 1 and 2. This role may support more than 100 projects in the course of a year.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for data management for all assigned projects within Intake, Segment 1 and Segment 2 including timely management of data and data quality assurance within CISCO, Procore, SAP, P6, ICUE and any other related project management systems. Performs secondary review of accuracy of baseline revenue allowances for billing accounts and monitors project information such as, costs, accounting information, addresses, and status. Provides secondary review and analysis of gas service orders to determine if Excess Flow Valve (EFV) is applicable. Analyzes and interprets load and meter information from service work or work orders to create/modify an account in CISCO and set appropriate billing rates. Specifies labor, materials, and equipment as denoted in sketches.
- Administer and execute customer projects consistent with the Project Management Manual (PMM) and applicable tariffs in partnership with Intake Planners, Segment 1 Planners and/or Segment 2 Planners and Field Construction Advisors. This may include assisting Segment 1 and 2 planners and Field Construction Advisors with successfully coordinating projects with internal stakeholders and other Construction department customer requests. Assists in development and implementation of processes, policies and procedures that will enhance and improve flow of information, project coordination and workflow between departments related for the successful installation, removal or modification of distribution projects. Coordinates and attends joint meets in field with project managers, project planners, customers and/or various construction personnel.
- Manages document control, including development, for Intake, Segment 1 and 2 projects including but not limited to contracts, drawings, maps and customer communication consistent with SDG&E Information Retention Policies and the Project Management Manual. Creates customer contracts for new installations, removal, conversions and relocation and maintenance of customer records. Prepares correspondence and monitors EFV installation.
- Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
Hybrid Schedule:
- Although the schedule may vary, typically this will allow the employee to work onsite three days per week and remotely on the remaining workdays.
- Must reside in Southern California or be willing to relocate upon hire.
Required Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma/GED Required
- 2-3 years - Experience in a role with document control, project support and coordination, comparable responsibilities, activities and/or tasks/duties.
- Must have a working knowledge of supporting projects that are governed by tariffs, policies and standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Substantive work experience in a role supporting and applying a defined project management methodology is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, SAP, CISCO, GIS, and ability to read maps is highly desired.
HYBRID: Work a combination of onsite and remote days each week, typically 3 days per week onsite.
