Primary Purpose :

Provides a wide range of administrative support to the Talent Acquisition - Union team. Coordinates various HR activities, maintains records, and assists with communication between candidates, employees and managers.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HR system. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Acts as a point of contact for candidates, employees and managers, providing timely updates and responding to inquiries. Drafts and sends HR related communications.
  • Participates in team meetings and contributes to process improvements and departmental projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).

Hybrid Schedule :

  • Although the schedule may vary, typically this will allow the employee to work onsite three days per week and remotely on the remaining workdays.
  • Must reside in Southern California or be willing to relocate upon hire.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • H.S. Diploma / GED or equivalent.
  • 1 year of prior administrative experience required.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate an exceptional customer service understanding and adhere to strict confidentiality requirements.
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to utilize MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and Access.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Business Administration or related business field.

    SDG&E offers a competitive total rewards package that goes beyond base salary. This position is eligible for an annual performance-based incentive (bonus) as well as other merit-based recognition. Company benefits include health and welfare (medical, dental, vision), employer contributions to retirement benefits, life insurance, paid time off, as well as other company offerings such as tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave, and employee assistance programs.

    Salary : $68,900 - $82,700
