What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer (Various Locations) position at San Diego Gas and Electric?
- Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid California driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Those with prior construction experience will be given first consideration.
- Prior construction experience strongly preferred.
- Candidates must have basic mechanical aptitude and experience, demonstrated ability to absorb formal training and schooling, and be physically able to do heavy manual labor with good safety habits.
- Must be able to utilize OSHA approved and standard company equipment.
This is a Union Represented position - Represented by Local IBEW 465.

Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test. Once in the job and driving/ licensure/ permitting requirements are met, successful bidders will be subject to mandated testing.
