We are a cosmetic medical practice seeking a dedicated Front/Back Office Medical Assistant/Surgical Assistant to perform both front and back office duties. We are looking for someone who is a "people person" and a team player. The most important asset for the job is the ability to connect with people.
The position requires staff to work in various positions including Front Desk, Patient Coordinator, Scrub Tech, and Circulating Tech.
Some sales experience is a plus, but not necessary with someone with a high aptitude for learning and a great outgoing personality. WE WILL TRAIN.
Front Office Responsibilities include:
- Answers Phones (responsible for 1st impressions)
- Greets patients
- Updates Patient Information, and all forms
- Scheduling appointments
- Enter transactions such as charges and payments into the computer
- Responsible for making sure the days cash, credit, and checks balance out
- Enter data into EMR/PM software
- Announce patient’s arrival
- Call all patients who are late or No-Show to follow-up
Back Office Responsibilities include:
- Room patients
- Obtain vitals
- Patient history
- Maintain patient records confidentially.
- Assist the provider with patient treatment plans/estimates
Procedure Room Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and scrub surgical cases with Surgeon at on-site surgery center
- Assist surgeon during cases
- Clean room and instruments after surgery
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Assist with pre and post op protocols
- Maintain safe environment in keeping with OSHA standards
Job experience or educational program/certification preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
