The salary range for this position is $5,666.67 - $6,166.67 per month depending upon qualifications and is non-negotiable.

The Social Media Strategist develops engaging and informative content that aligns with the organizations brand, communication, and marketing goals, and is responsible sharing that content on websites, social media, blog posts, digital marketing, videos, etc.
The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. They should also have a deep understanding of AP style, clear and concise communication, digital marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), social media trends, and social media platforms.
Responsibilities :
The Social Media Strategist is responsible for but not limited to :
Core Responsibilities 95%
- Plan and create engaging, on-brand content for various platforms such as website, social media, blog, etc.
- Collaborate with Global Campus and SDSU teams to create content that aligns with the organizations goals and brand identity, drives engagement, and creates awareness of the organization and its programs.
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, and style.
- Optimize content for search engines and social media platforms to increase visibility and reach.
- Monitor and report content performance metrics such as views, engagement, and conversion rates to inform future content strategies.
- Stay up to date with digital marketing and social media trends and technologies to continuously improve content creation skills.
- Research social media trends and inform management of changes that are relevant to the organizations marketing activities.
- Design graphics, capture, and edit photos and videos for specific platforms / uses that adhere to brand guidelines and meet platform performance guidelines.
- Proactively address program needs, facilitate approvals, and actively participate in meetings to ensure partner satisfaction with strategy and implementation.
