We are on a mission to build a world class home for players and fans that will be loved locally and respected globally. We are seeking an Account Executive, Group Sales to join our mission by sharing our story, welcoming in fans by getting them set-up with the best seats in the stadium. This is a full-time role where our Account Executive builds relationships with individuals, with our community, offers world-class customer service, and is responsible for group ticket sales.

The Account Exec will prospect and consult new group leads within their designated group category. Book, plan, and execute matchday group experiences. Generate revenue and develop relationships to retain revenue. Track communications and correspondence with clients using ticketing system (Ticketmaster) and CRM (Salesforce).

ROLE & RESPONSIBILIITES:
- Share in our mission.
- Provide the highest level of customer service to all.
- Attend all San Diego Wave FC home games and contribute to all in-game sales related activities.
- Help drive new business and retain revenue through calls, appointments, and at local events.
- Meet or exceed weekly/monthly/yearly overall sales and revenue goals.
- Grow and maintain group outing base.
- Lead informative sessions on group outings.
- Attend community events.
- Energetically build new relationships by self-prospecting, cold calling, and effective campaign management.
- Contribute positively to the sales team culture by developing collaborative relationships with all team members.
- Other duties assigned as business needs evolve.
QUALIFIED?
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1 years of proven sales experience in sports or 2 years of sales experience in other industries
- Excellent, professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excels at building rapport.
- Highly organized, self-starter, resourceful, detail oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); ticketing systems and CRM experience preferred.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, including all home games, non-game day events, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
This role will be a base commission position. Base salary is $45000- - $50000 based on experience.
