HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSION
The Bartender under direction performs a wide variety of moderately difficult duties in the taking of beverage orders from restaurant customers, serving customers and keeping assigned area clean and orderly. This position report to a Food Service Supervisor or Manager.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Bartender applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Outgoing, friendly and courteous candidates with previous server experience are preferred.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Takes, prepares, and serves orders for beverages
- Advises customers’ regarding menu items
- Occasionally serves food to and assists patrons at catered events
- Politely answers customers' questions regarding the Organization
- Makes coffee and other beverages
- Performs some record-keeping for inventory, tax and timecard purposes
Bartender applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Outgoing, friendly and courteous candidates with previous server experience are preferred.
- EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- A working knowledge of the characteristics of wine, beer and spirits as well as knowledge of beverage products and cocktail recipes and liquor laws.
- SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Organization policies and procedures
- The ABC guidelines pertaining to the service of alcoholic beverages
- Assist customers in making menu and bar selections
- Deal tactfully and courteously with the public
- Understand and carry out instructions
- Make simple arithmetic calculations
- Prepare event sheets properly and in a timely manner
- Accurately operate computerized cash register
- Work in fast paced environment and requires an excellent memory
- Be proficient in handling cash and/or credit cards, making change properly
