What This Position is All About
The Client Services Representative / Phone Seller represents Saks Fifth Avenue's ideals of service and quality to the customer. This position responds to all assigned customer escalations, ensuring a timely response and resolution to issues, ensuring the customer's overall Saks Fifth Avenue experience is a positive one. Additionally, the ideal candidate has a strong working knowledge of the store, the designers it carries, as well as the many services offered, and they use this knowledge to provide customers with personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience and convert interactions into sales. In this role, you must be able to work in a team-oriented environment, have strong people skills and be comfortable with building client relationships.

- Strong written communication skills.
- Superior verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to diffuse an emotional situation.
- Ability to respond to customers, co-workers, and Management in a professional and courteous manner.
- Strong math skills (i.e. percentage calculations).

- Act as a liaison for the client and have the ability to develop relationships and address all client needs
- Able to quickly assess customer needs in terms of : special occasion, vendors / product of interest, special language needs, how much time customer has, etc.
- Always portrays a professional and polished demeanor demonstrating confidence and a positive attitude.
- You are passionate about selling and have the innate ability to convert an inquiry into a selling moment

Salary and Other Compensation :
The starting hourly rate for this position is between $16.00 - $24.26 per hour . Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, skills, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
