Hearst StoryStudio is searching for a dynamic Stra tegic, National Account Executive with national agency contacts to sell strategic custom content solutions leveraging Hearst, the StoryStudio product suite, audience, traffic, and digital data to reach their target audience.
This role will manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, leading presentations, creating proposals, closing business opportunities, and post-sales campaign results.

What will you do?
- Sales Goals: Exceed sales activity, pipeline, and revenue goals on a monthly basis.
- Lead Generation: Call on medium to large businesses to show the value of our suite of advertising products. Generate new leads through cold calling, email marketing, networking, and staying aware of new business openings.
- Pipeline Management: Continually build a pipeline of new business and upsell opportunities.
- Product Expertise: Become an expert on our digital and print products/services.
- Client Interaction: Conduct discovery calls and presentations with prospects and customers.
- Client Solutions: Recommend new products and promotional opportunities to current clients and handle objections efficiently.
- Forecasting: Manage client pipeline and monthly revenue forecast.
- Advertising Solutions: Create engaging advertising solutions to solve clients’ business needs.
- Purposeful: You are direct and get things done quickly, with confidence, integrity, and determination.
- Adaptable: You react and adjust to changing conditions and come up with practical ideas to deal with them.

- Education: BA/BS degree in Advertising, Marketing, or Communications a plus or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 5 years of business-to-business outside sales in advertising or media, with a proven success in new business acquisition and exceeding revenue goals.
- Skills: Superior presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills. Technically savvy with experience in Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Mindset: Goal-oriented, competitive, and forward-thinking with strong business and financial acumen.
