Position Summary :
The Project Manager position executes and may contribute to the development of strategic plans in accountability. Project Managers are responsible for maintaining external relationships with vendors, partners and the community as needed.
Under the direction of the Chief Operations Officer (COO), the Operations Project Manager provides support and oversight to specific Operations projects.
Boundaries
The Operations Project Manager is involved in planning, organizing staff and stakeholders, implementation, and project control. The Operations Project Manager collaborates with other departments as instructed by the COO. The Operations Project Manager is a thought partner to the COO and Operations leadership team.
Authority
As a key member of the San Francisco Foundation Operations Team, as directed by the COO, this role is responsible for supporting and moving along Ops related bodies of work related to the Business Model, SFFs 3-Year Impact Plan, supporting content building and facilitation of
Operations Team meetings and retreats, and collaboration with the Executive Assistant to the COO and VP of HR and Administration. This role will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. As a liaison to the COO, this position may be called to support the implementation of priority projects and commitments held by the Operations Team as a group.

The Operations Project Manager is responsible for strategy development and planning, project management, operations group facilitation, and effective communication.
The role is responsible for :
- Operations Planning-Meeting and retreat support, coordination, and facilitation.
- Track deliverables of cross functional work, attend meetings when COO cannot and summarize findings.
- Internal Equity Working Group (IEWG) project coordination, note taking and scheduling support.
- Directors and VP group note taking, agenda setting, scheduling and additional support as needed.
- AI strategy project management support, research, etc.

Compensation : The San Francisco Foundation offers a very competitive total compensation package including base compensation in alignment with our organizational budget size and rich medical and fringe benefits offerings. Remote Work Policy : The Foundation has adopted a long-term hybrid in-person and remote work policy.
