About The Role
The San Francisco Giants are looking for a part-time Promotions and Special Events Marketing Intern, where you will have the unique opportunity to impact pre-game and day of game logistics alongside the marketing team for the 2025 season. You will gain hands-on experience by working closely with stakeholders across the Giants organization, assisting with game-day promotions, fan engagement initiatives, and special events execution. This position reports to the Manager of Promotions and Special Events and will be based in our beautiful ballpark headquarters at 24 Willie Mays Plaza in San Francisco.

About The Role

- You will engage with community partners, assisting with requests and donations while ensuring a positive experience
- You will help research, book, and coordinate group entertainment for special events and promotions
- You will assist in distributing promotional items to departments after each homestand
- You will collaborate with the in-game team to execute pre-game and in-game promotions, enhancing the fan experience
- You will support the execution of group sales and special events, coordinating pre-game and in-game entertainment, green room logistics, and other game-day needs
- You will facilitate all mailing and distribution of promotional items for media and partners
- You will maintain and update department files, contact lists, and vendor information, ensuring accurate records in coordination with the Manager and Sr. Coordinator of Event Production & Promotions
- You will take on additional responsibilities as needed, contributing to the success of the Promotions and Special Events team

- Current student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or recently graduated in the past 24 months
- Applicants must be able to work up to 40 hours per week the entire season (April – September) and have a flexible schedule to work all Giants home games, including weekends and nights.
- Proficient in G-Suite and Microsoft Office with emphasis in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Establish positive professional relationships with Giants staff, fans and clients
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-paced environment with the emphasis on meeting deadlines
