Positions exist in both Adult and Juvenile Probation departments and require a high degree of ability and initiative.SUPERVISION EXERCISEDThis position may coordinate the work of clerical / technical personnel and may supervise less experienced Deputy Probation Officers in the absence of the Supervising Officer.Working ConditionsDeputy Probation Officers may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Officers at the Adult Probation Department may need to carry firearms.
