What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Specialist position at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the processing the payroll cycle; including date entry, verification, transmission, and distribution of payroll reports. Calculates and prepares manual payroll checks as needed. Maintains all payroll related records and documents. Assist with Accounts Payable documents and prepares document batches for processing. Processes garnishments and assists with tax filings. Responds to employee and vendor inquiries. Prepares various statistical reports for both internal and external use.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associates Degree or higher college education. Payroll experience in ADP, Kronos, or other computerized payroll device. The ability to communicate effectively, problem-solving and handle confidential information is required. Strong skills with Microsoft Suite.
