Pay: $65,000 / DOE
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory compliance and continuing care retirement community operations including Title 22, CDPH, CAHF, etc
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
- Ability to adapt communication style to that of others and deal kindly and professionally with patients, families, physicians, community resources and the public
- Proven marketing success in nursing or similar business
- Supervisory success, leads by example with basic understanding of CA labor laws
- Servant leader, compassion for the elderly and sincere concern for the wellbeing of others

Responsibilities
- Helps directs the day-to-day operations of the facility following current federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing facilities, ensuring the highest level of quality care for residents and a safe, comfortable, supportive work environment for employees
- Assists the Administrator on day-to-day operations
- Ensures the facility operates efficiently, is profitable, and maintains compliance with all standards and regulations for the business
- Continually strives to improve the quality of care and patient/resident experiences
- Supports Marketing Director in increasing facility census (maintaining appropriate ratio mixes of Medicare, Medi-Cal, managed care and private pay)
- Partners with clinical leaders to evaluate and adjust staffing requirements in accordance with regulations and budgets
- Prepares and works to annual operational budget, allocating resources to carry out programs and adjusting based on monthly financial statements
- Recruits, hires and trains department leaders supporting their recruiting, managing and employee personnel issues in accordance with company policies and employment laws
- Creates safe, fun, supportive work environment where departments collaborate for company success
- Ensures all personnel, residents and visitors follow regulations, policies and procedures
