San Joaquin County Office of Education located in Stockton, CA is a regional agency that provides educational leadership, resources, and customized services to assist school districts. San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) employs over 2,100 classified and certificated employees. SJCOE promotes student achievement and accountability, serves San Joaquin County’s most at-risk students, and strives to create an environment in which every student, regardless of circumstances, has an opportunity for a quality education. The Leadership Coach is an experienced and successful administrator who will provide 6-8 hours per month, for two years, of one-on-one coaching with a TCSJ candidate seeking a clear administrative credential. The coach will attend a mandatory two-day training session provided by ACSA. On-going training will be provided throughout the school year. The coach will complete all documents that provide evidence of their candidate’s progress and collaborate with the candidate and TCSJ leadership to determine when the requirements for a clear administrative credential have been met.
